Senior Product Lead (Marketing & Pricing)

As the Senior Product Lead in the New Product Innovation Team, you will be part of a unique, cross functional R&D team tasked with rapid evaluation of a wide range of new products and services utilizing future technology. We are looking for a candidate to work with us on innovative products and services inside and outside the vehicle spectrum. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop pricing strategies that maximize business objectives through discovery of target customer needs and market dynamics.

What you'll be doing:
  • Work with internal cross functional teams to hypothesize new market opportunities with high value-creation potential while considering the strengths and assets of DENSO
  • Initiate and cultivate relationships within the targeted markets, attend industry events, engage and interact with potential partners and customers
  • Own responsibilities for pricing study, customer acquisition and support planning product roadmaps
  • Lead / coach teammates in marketing best practices and pricing frameworks
  • Monitor competitive and tangential market pricing landscapes, develop marketing and pricing tools geared towards rapid evaluation of projects
  • Conduct primary and secondary research of market sizing and segmentation, trends, competitors, growth opportunities, focus groups, etc.
  • Lead external resources related to sales and marketing
  • Conceptualize new products, service ideas and business models in various progressive technologies
  • Establish GTM strategies in SaaS by articulating pricing related trade-offs between market share growth & profitability
  • Guide development priorities by projecting outcomes influenced by discounting, bundling and upgrade/tiered offerings
  • Articulate and defend marketing and pricing strategies to senior leadership

Core Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Supply Chain; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of product management experience with focus in marketing and/or pricing (consumer goods)
  • Demonstrated analytical and/or financial modeling skills
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with the tenacity to develop ideas independently, ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams with a strong sense of self-direction
  • Comfort in working with technical products and/or specifications, ability to conceptualize and communicate ideas based on abstract descriptions

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with managing and delivering significant business results that reflects strategic and creative thinking, individual initiative, and the aforementioned abilities
  • Demonstrated experience in leading large workshops and guiding product teams
  • Demonstrated experience with bringing SaaS solutions to market
