As DENSO transitions business direction from traditional Hardware to Cloud Services and Software, we are currently seeking a Mobility Engineering Senior Manager for our Innovation and Connected Service Center in Plano, TX. This is one of several labs recently established by DENSO in North America to lead the development of IoT and Connected Services solutions. Plano, Texas

  1. You will lead the early development phase of vehicle integration and generate new ideas in the mobility service field
  2. Motivate and inspire engineering teams to design and create leading edge technology for mobility systems.
  3. Propose innovative connective mobility ideas to DENSO's customers.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Integration of new ideas into DENSO's connected services platform
  • Work with internal and external cross functional teams with a strong sense of self direction
  • Construct prototypes and confirm designs using engineering best practices
  • Present pro-type concepts to customers in the automotive manufacturing industry
  • Desire to support & develop business and engineering aspects of best solutions

Core Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of experience as an Engineer in the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of either Cockpit (cluster/ IVI), Body Electronics or other ECUs
  • Experience with basic vehicle network (CAN etc)
  • Ability to take ideas from concept to prototype
  • Creation and documentation of ECU specifications
  • Ability to learn quickly and engage unfamiliar technologies


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Japanese OEM or tier one supplier vehicle modification as early development
