Production Technician 2nd & 3rd Shift

Production Technician

Responsibilities will include trouble shooting, process control and performing preventative maintenance while maintaining a high level of quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Maintain production equipment, find abnormal machine problems as well as finding the root cause of a problem, verify product quality, find machine quality problems, identify and adjust the machine using root cause analysis and assisting with production needs as necessary.
  • Communicate with support areas, lead and direct workflow during production activities, track and implement countermeasures of downtime trends and train associates on proper procedures.
  • Ensure all safety and quality specifications are followed, repair minor machine issues, preform basic preventive maintenance as required,, safely operate and maintain machines by mass production criteria (quality, cost, delivery) and maintain and stabilize machine working parameters,

Qualifications for Production Technician:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Three (3) plus years of manufacturing/industrial experience to include; multi-machine operation, mechanical troubleshooting and minor repair.
  • Must pass Production Skill Review (PSR). This assessment has sections including math, mechanical reasoning, stock picking, pattern series recognition and a personality inventory.
  • Must be able to read and interpret manuals and perform basic math with a calculator.
  • Must be able to read, compute, interpret, construct and maintain charts, records, log books and graphs.
  • Must have computer skills. Knowledge of Excell, Word & powerpoint.
  • Must have general machine repair knowledge.
  • Quality Control Experience

  • Starting Pay $20.04/hr + $0.75 Shift premium for 2nd & 3rd Shift
