About the Position

DENSO Production Associates assemble automotive parts in a fast-paced, team based manufacturing environment at our facility in Guelph. Production Associates produce automotive HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) units as well as Engine Cooling Modules (radiators and condensers) through manual assembly or machine operated processes.

This role is ideal for anyone who takes pride in making quality products for their customers while continuously striving to improve processes for their team. We offer a stimulating and challenging work environment that builds on the strengths of multiple cultures.

Production Associates rotate between Day (6AM - 4PM) and Afternoon (3PM - 2AM) shifts every two weeks. $18.00/hour with a 3% shift premium for afternoons.

Responsibilities
  • Use of manual and machine operations to assemble automotive products to high standards of quality
  • Perform regular Total Preventative Maintenance on all related equipment and machinery
  • Perform quality tests
  • Prevent and minimize defect rates through use of standardized operating procedures and continuous improvement activities
  • On the job training
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Grade 12 diploma (OSSD) or equivalent* (*equivalency can be obtained through the International Credential Assessment Service of Canada www.icascanda.ca Tel: 1-800-321-6021)
