Summary:

The associate will be working in the Powertrain Systems Team and will be expected to further the development of Powertrain Technology based on upcoming regulations for emissions and fuel economy. This includes data analysis of vehicle/engine data as well as some potential simulation work to generate data on appropriate hybrid architectures as well as CFD of combustion gasses.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify new needs for North America market in powertrain controls
  • Lead advanced production development to solve these issues creating a new DIAM based product for sale in the United States
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Two years of Powertrain Engineering
  • Prior experience with Matlab and Simulink
  • Strong Communication skills (Verbal, written, and presentation)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Engine/Electrification Controls, OBD.
  • CFD, GT Power
